PlayFlagQuiz provides free browser-based flag and geography quiz games. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you visit PlayFlagQuiz and how you can make choices about optional analytics.

1. Information processed when you play

The core quiz runs in your browser. Your answers, score, selected region, and timer state are used to run the current round and are not submitted to PlayFlagQuiz as part of the game flow. The game does not require an account or a download.

When you visit the site, hosting and security systems may process technical request information such as your IP address, browser, device, requested page, timestamp, and error details. This information is used to deliver, secure, and maintain the site.

If you contact PlayFlagQuiz, we receive the information and message that you choose to send so that we can respond and handle your request.

2. Cookies and local storage

PlayFlagQuiz uses necessary browser storage for site preferences and security-related functions. The cookie preferences panel stores your choice in local browser storage so that the site can remember it.

Optional analytics tools are loaded only after analytics consent has been enabled. The specific tools and identifiers are configured for the deployment. Review the final deployment configuration and the applicable provider policies before launch.

You can clear browser cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Clearing them may reset preferences or require the consent panel to appear again.

3. Optional analytics

If you allow analytics, PlayFlagQuiz may use configured analytics providers to understand page performance, usage patterns, and errors. Analytics providers may process device and usage information under their own privacy policies. If analytics is not enabled or no provider is configured, the optional analytics scripts are not loaded.

4. How information is used

Information may be used to:

  • provide and secure the website;
  • remember cookie and display preferences;
  • respond to messages and feedback;
  • understand site performance when optional analytics is enabled; and
  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

PlayFlagQuiz does not sell personal information. Do not send sensitive personal information through the contact channel unless it is necessary for your request.

The site may rely on hosting, security, analytics, email, or other service providers. The final provider list, purposes, data categories, and international transfer details should be added here before launch. Links to other websites are governed by those websites' own policies.

6. Retention and your choices

The quiz does not create a server-side player profile for the core game. Technical logs, contact messages, and optional analytics data may be retained for the period needed for security, support, operations, or legal obligations; confirm the final retention periods before launch.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about personal data relating to you. Requests should be sent through the contact method published on the Contact page.

7. Children

PlayFlagQuiz is a general-audience geography game. The site is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so that the situation can be reviewed.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the site, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new update date.

9. Contact

Use the Contact page for privacy questions or requests. Publish the final privacy contact email and any required business or representative details before launch.
